An update!!!  Where have I been you might be asking yourself?  Two words:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Gallbladder Surgery!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;It's been a rough month to say the least!  But I am healing, pretty much recovered I would say..  it is hard having no insurance though, so I applied for some help with a program called Charity Care.  I am still waiting back to see what the verdict is!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;I am going back to school tomorrow after missing two weeks.. I went to a differnt meeting to WI and I lost 4.3 pounds for a new total of 51.7!!  I finally got over my fear of loosing 50 lbs!  I got that cute lip print purse that I had as my reward and my parents surprised me with the new Rivel CrockPot that I have been drooling over for 2 months! I bumped in to her, she couldn't talk but told me to see one of the higher ups in the Ed department..  this was the same lady who was rude to me last week when I went, but I still went in..  She actually helped me this time..  not only did she register the two classes I needed, she put me in the one that was full because I am a Senior!  Hahahahaha..  but then there was a time conflict with one of my classes..  I needed in one that was pretty much closed up..  she told me to talk to the Dean..  I was so scared when I went in, but he was a really nice guy..  he told his secretary to put me in the class! I slept the entire day yesterday so it does not surprise me that I am wide awake..  a friend told me to try putting peroxide in my ear..  well I did, and I think it helped..  it feels much better now!!  So much so that I may go to the gym for some badly needed exercise..  I know, I shouldn't exercise when I am sick, but I have been sick for two weeks and have not been to the gym for those two weeks and I am about to go nuts!!  I want to at least sit in the whirlpool to relax my musles, which are strangly aching, perhaps from all of the sleep I was getting..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;I am pretty stressed out about our financial situation..  it occurs to me that we go to the grocery store a lot for un-needed items..  I have decided to make a list and stick with it..  I re-arranged the kitchen cabinents tonight to take stock of everything that we have..  how many cans of fruit do two people really need??  Bryan has banned the peaches..  he says he does not like peaches..  and what is the one thing a Weight Watcher &lt;em&gt;doesn't &lt;/em&gt;want to see on a can of fruit????  &lt;em&gt;IN HEAVY SYRUP&lt;/em&gt;..  Ugh!  Some of that fruit is getting donated..  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;I know why I am freaking out about money..  for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to pay all of the bills at the beginning of the month instead of spreading them out along the month like I usually do..  well that was a bad idea..  especially since Bryan's paycheck *which gets mailed* did not come on Saturday like usual...  there is just something about seeing your Quicken in the red that will horrify a person..  of course we don't have anything left to pay this month except for gas in the cars and groceries, but still..  I am not worried that I will bounce anything though, because his check will come tomorrow *techincally today* and the rent check is still in the Landlord's mailbox.  Lesson learned..  I shall not get gung-ho about the bills..  it is okay to pay them on time..  no reason to drain the bank account at the beginning of the month for sport.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;We really do need to get a handle on our grocery bills..  I go to the store a lot..  and when I shop at Super Wal-Mart for groceries I alwas come home with far more than just groceries..  do I really need so much stationary?  I think I could write letters for the rest of my life and never run out.  But it was cute..  and pink..  and..  well, you get the idea.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;I am really nervous about my school schedule situation..  it will not let me add classes on line because it tells me I do not meet the pre-requisittes *sp*..  but I have &lt;em&gt;proof &lt;/em&gt;that I passed the PPST..  so I am going to go there in a few hours and talk to them..  the registrar's office will tell me to see my advisor..  I can't see my advisor because faculty is stuck in some bizarre self improvement workshop all this week..  I did add two classes online tonight in another line of study just to get my student loan money to release..  I have no intentions of actually taking them.  I don't know why I am worrying, even if I can't schedule my education classes I can amuse myself in history classes for a semester..  I love history and wanted a degree in it anyway after my education degree.  It just frustrates me that nothing ever works the way it is supposed to.  Once those Ed classes fill up I am screwed..  unless I spend a lot of time begging and pleading with professors to add me in.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#993399;"&gt;I am still upset about yogurt being 3 points.  Well, at least the yogurt I picked out was.  I tried to get something that I thought would be at least a little bit edible..  but nope.  But I have to eat it because I am on antibiotics..  I wonder if I can handle yogurt for 10 days??? type='text'>Surviving the Chinese Buffet..</title><content type='html'>&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;Well I must say that I dreamed about buffets last night..  I guess it was on my mind more than I thought *LOL*  In the first dream, I dreamed that I did NOT have the crab rangoon..  in the second dream, I wanted it, and did not have it, but apparantly we brought a huge plate of it home with us..  weird dreams...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;Well I woke up this morning and my ear hurt a lot..  I couldn't even touch it..  I had gone two weeks ago to the doctor and had an infection, they gave me Amoxocillian, which didn't work since I take it all the time due to the fact that I am allergic to so many antibiotics..  well it wasn't working so later I went back..  they gave me a new medicine and I took every bit of it, and I did start to feel better..  I thought it was gone..  but I guess not..  Bryan took me back to the doctor today and the doctor was pretty horrified when he looked in to my right ear *LOL*..  so he is going to give me Augmentin, which I have had before and I know it works..  I don't have any insurance, so he was going to see if he could find some samples for me..  well he couldn't so he said "Well I am going to give you amoxocillian.." and I am like "oh, I can't take that because it doesn't work anymore" and he cops this MAJOR attitude with me and was like "Well I was ONLY trying to save you some money"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;Yeah, okay..  give me the amoxocillian, I will pay $50 for it, I already paid $60 just to walk in the door..  then it wont work, I will pay another $60 to walk BACK in the door, you will have to give me the Augmentin and I will end up paying $85 for it ANYWAY, so how are you saving me money?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This concludes the rant for the day ;)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;Anyhow, after that we went to the Chinese Buffet..  I had already told Bryan to keep me in line and not to let me freak out and eat whatever was in site..  I gave him a description of what I was wanting to eat and willing to use the points on..  The first thing I got when I got there was one cup of white rice with one cup of chicken and brocolli over it for 6 points..  then I waited a while, took my medicine *have to take it with food* and just sat there to see if I would feel full..  then I went up and got one eggroll and only two crab rangoons..  well let me tell you that before I started Weight Watchers I could easily eat 20 crab rangoons, and at two points a piece, well, you can do the math..  but I got two..  I sat there and ate my eggroll so slowly..  making sure that I could taste and enjoy every single bite..  then I ate my crab rangoons slowly..  I really savored each bite..  and it was good..  then I went up for the last trip and got some cut up banana in strawberry sauce, then I ate my fortune cookie..  I was full...  and not stuffed like usual!!  But happy, full and satisified...  it was amazing..  I only used 18 points, that is incredible..  two crab rangoon??  I can't even tell you how shocked I am!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#663366;"&gt;I got my official test results from my PPST in the mail today..  I will give you some background on that..  it is a test you must take in order to get your degree in Elementary Education at my university..  I bascially have 4 more classes left to take, but couldn't register for them because I had not taken the PPST yet..  the reason I hadn't taken it is because I am afraid of math..  I am okay until Algebra, but Geometry can strike fear in to my heart like nothing else..  I kept putting it off..  I knew I would be great on the reading and writing..  well I finally had to take it if I had any hope of finishing school..  I took the practise tests..  had a tutor..  I really worked hard to prepare.. the night before I went to take it I was really anxious and spent most of the night lying on the bathroom floor breathing in to a paper bag..  then I threw up..  a lot..  I took it on the computer, where the math and reading scores automatically post..  the essay, however, must be sent away and read by a pannel of 6 people..  this might sound ironic, but I got the best score in Math..  I know..  I was still waiting on the essay to be graded..  but I had planned on majoring in English before, so what are the odds I would not do well on the essay??  But they would not let me schedule..  however, the results came in the mail today..  I passed..  and still did better in math than anything else..  came within 9 points of a perfect score in math actually..  so now I have to go in to my university on Monday and schedule the other classes..  I already know that one is full..  however, I am not to proud to beg the teacher to let me in *LOL*  I am keeping my fingers crossed!  My student loan money is tied up, I cannot have it until I schedule.. I didn't wake up until 1 PM because I hadn't slept for so long..  that put me back a bit as far as my points..  our friends came over to play some games at Game Night..  I made turkey with scalloped potatoes for dinner..  turns out Bryan doesn't like them, which I didn't know..  but he ate it anyway..  it was really good...  I just had a snack of Go Lean Crunch cereal, it seems like I have that every day..  it takes care of my granola cravings and is much less points than regular granola.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't scared to go to that Chinese Buffet with Bryan tomorrow..  I went there with him once and managed to stay OP..  I just wonder if I am strong enough to do it again..  it has been over a week since I have gone off program..  I don't want to be tempted in to it again..  I will probably try to fill up on Chicken and Brocolli and white rice..  that should curb some of the cravings if I eat enough of it..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div type='text'>The Weigh In Results..</title><content type='html'>&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;Yesterday was stessful as always...  Cornflake started acting bizarre..  so much so that I called the vet..  they told me to bring him in at 5 PM..  so I went to WI but couldn't stay for the meeting..  I lost 6.8 pound, which is funny since last week I gained 8.6 *LOL*&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;I went to the vet and waited a while..  Bryan met us there after work..  Cornflake always gets a lot of compliments and attention when he is in public..  I think he likes it.  The vet checked him over..  they did not feel an enlarged bladder, which was a good thing, they were not even able to get a urine sample..  they suspect an infection, so they gave him a shot of antibiotics and sent him home with some to take orally..  I thought I would die when I saw them giving him that shot..  honestly, it was horrific, I had to turn my head.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#330099;"&gt;Thursday is the night I go grocery shopping..  so since Bryan met us there he was able to take Cornflake home..  I went on to the store..  I normally have a snake during meeting, but since I missed my snack, I was starving when I was at the store, which isn't a good thing..  I was tempted to eat something that would have put me over my points, but I didn't... I really hope that I do well at my Weigh In tonight..  I am worried though because I have been drinking water all day, and I am concerned that I might be "water logged" tonight..  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#006600;"&gt;Last night was yet another sleepless night for me..  I always get really bad insomnia right before my period..  It always goes away though as soon as my period arrives..  ugh, this BLOG is getting to be TMI!  *LOL*&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#006600;"&gt;If I said I wasn't nervous about tonights WI I would be lying..  normally I pride myself on not being on of those crazy people who starves themselves the entire day before a 5 PM weigh in *no offense to those of you who do that*..  I eat like normal the entire day..  however, today I have had an unusually large amount of water due to the fact that I have been awake since yesterday..  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#006600;"&gt;Bryan wants to go to a Chinese Buffet on Saturday..  we had cut out eating out entirely because we are saving money, however it has been a really long time, so I agreed to go..  I have managed to stay OP at this particular Chinese Buffet before, so I know that I *can* do it..  I am just hoping that I *will* do it..  their Crab Rangoon is really sweet, so I have that going for me..  I swear there is one place that has Crab Rangoon that is so incredible, I could easily eat 20 of them at a time..  however, at 2 points each, I don't think that would be a good idea..  thankfully Bryan likes the place we are going to better..  I am going to have a plan before I even walk in to the door..  and since it is on a Saturday, I will be sleeping in and probably wont have time for breakfast, so that will leave me more points to play with.. My name is Jaylee (nickname Kitty Cornflake around Weight Watcher sites, after my kitty), I am 26 years old living in Fairmont, West Virginia. I joined Weight Watchers on January 8, 2004 and have lost around 42 pounds so far. I live with my fiancee, Bryan, and our kitty, Kitty Cornflake.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#cc33cc;"&gt;It seems like every month I deal with insomnia right around "that time of the month" so I have been either staying up all night and day, or staying up a day or two at a time, then falling in to a deep sleep and waking up at around 5 pm.. at any rate, it is always over in a few days, and I will go back to sleeping normally soon enough. But it seems like I struggle to get in all of my points when I wake up at 5 in the evening and have 34 points to eat before midnight. That is the boat I am in today.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;color:#cc33cc;"&gt;I have had an incredible week on program this week. I got a nifty hourly food tracker in the mail last Thursday from my friend Sue from a WW support yahoo group. I had had a rough time and actually gained 8.6 pounds that night. But I have been using that points tracker ever since and I love it. In three short hours I will have hit a perfect week On Program at Weight Watchers.
